Common electrical items on a 4-point
Switch and outlet repairs
Buzzing, dead or warm outlets and switches are common red flags. We fix damaged devices, loose wiring and overloads so circuits are safe and functional.
Panel upgrades and repairs
Panels rated below 100 amps, or showing heat, buzzing or tripped breakers, often need replacement. We upgrade to 100 or 200 amps and correct double taps, overloaded circuits, and panels an insurer will no longer write.
GFCI installation and correction
GFCIs are required in kitchens, bathrooms, garages, outdoor areas and laundry rooms. Missing or non-functioning GFCIs fail the inspection outright. We install, test and correct improper wiring.
Grounding and bonding
Improper or missing grounding is a major safety item and a common failure. We ground outlets properly, upgrade bonding at the service panel, and address aluminum wiring.
Lighting and ceiling fans
Flickering or dimming lights usually point to loose connections or overloaded circuits. We trace the cause, repair or upgrade to code, and install fans with proper bracing and boxes. Exterior and pool lighting included.
Wiring and rewiring
Older homes carry wiring that no longer meets code. We repair frayed wire and replace aluminum or knob and tube, up to a full rewire.
